Service Technician

**Role Description**:
As a Service Technician you’ll perform breakdown repairs, preventative service and installation of commercial Glass/Dishwashers at Restaurants, Clubs, Pubs, Childcare Centres and other commercial kitchens.

You’ll also attend our workshop for machine refurbishment among other tasks.

**Responsibilities Required**:
DISHCARE is a customer focused company, so proactive attitude, excellent verbal and written communication are essential.
- Safely complete repairs, mindful of the wellbeing of yourself and others;
- Attend to breakdowns within a certain time frame & identify spare parts to rectify the problem;
- Quote and report diagnose of breakdowns;
- Maintain the tools and keep the service vehicle tidy and properly stocked.

**Skills and Experience Required**:
Full Driver’s Licence
- Experience in Equipment/Machinery Service and Maintenance;
- Be technically minded and possess strong technical skills;
- Be able to read wiring diagrams and exploded views in order to identify faults and components correctly;
- Have basic knowledge and skills on hydraulic/plumbing connections, mechanics and physics;
- Knowledge and experience with electrical components such as thermostats and pressure switches;
- Knowledge and experience handling tools and testing equipment such as Multimeters;
- Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills;
- Work well within a team environment yet also be able to self manage your tasks;
- Disconnect/Reconnect course is a minimum requirement (Full Electrical License and Refrigeration License holders have advantage).

**Final Considerations**
- The salary may vary according to your experience and qualifications.
- Start and finish hours are flexible.
- On call roaster available for the weekends.

- We’ll provide full training until you’re ready to go on your own.
- Once you pass the probation period, the company provides a mobile phone and a fully equipped service van.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Commission
- Performance bonus
