**Our Opportunity**

Are you a skilled and experienced Early Childhood Education professional with a passion for leading and developing a team? Community Kids Hoppers Crossing is seeking a dynamic and proactive Centre Manager to join our team and oversee the operation of our licensed childcare centre of 148 places.

As a Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Childcare Educators and Teachers, as well as ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to children ages 6 months to 5 years old with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

The position is open for Flexible Working arrangements, 4 days per week Part-Time or 38 Hours Full-Time.

**Our Support**

- Ongoing support throughout your 6-month program is provided by our First Steps Support Team and your Area Manager.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operation of the childcare centre, including staffing, budget management, and communication with parents and stakeholders
- Lead and support the professional development of the Childcare Educators and Teachers, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations
- Foster a positive and inclusive culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity

**Our Requirements**:

- ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role
- A current Working with Children Check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
