**YMCA South Australia** is seeking a passionate, skilled and client-focused **Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP)** to join our dynamic Allied Health team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact through high-quality, evidence-based care

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

You will join a supportive, experienced, and values-driven Allied Health team, based primarily at **Marion Leisure & Fitness Centre** and the **Holdfast Bay Community Centre**.

The role offers:

- Flexibility (0.4-0.8 FTE negotiable)

As an AEP at YMCA SA, you’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centred care including:

- One-on-one assessments and tailored clinical exercise programs
- Group exercise sessions addressing specific health concerns
- Health education workshops
- Collaborative care planning with referrers, clients, and team members
- Navigating funding pathways such as Medicare, NDIS, compensable schemes, and private health

Your caseload may include clients managing:

- Cardiac, neurological, or musculoskeletal conditions
- Orthopaedic rehabilitation
- Diabetes and chronic disease
- Mental health concerns

You’ll play a vital role in empowering clients to optimise their function, build confidence, and achieve lasting health outcomes.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

We are looking for someone who:

- Is enthusiastic, motivated, and values working in a vibrant team
- Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Is confident managing a diverse caseload and adapting programs to meet client goals
- Demonstrates strong clinical reasoning and a commitment to ongoing learning
- Some industry experience preferred

**Essential Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology
- Full accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
- HLTAID001 Provide CPR (current)
- National Police Check (within 12 months)
- Working with Children Check or equivalent
