DDH1 Drilling is looking for a storeperson to join our growing team at the Canning Vale head office. The Storeperson is responsible for effectively performing the rig order picking, stocktaking, cycle counts, back order reporting, put stock away, forklift operations, goods receipting, freight booking and ensuring housekeeping is kept to a high standard.

At times you may be expected to perform reasonable additional duties that are related to your role but are not specified in your position description as directed by your supervisor/ manager.

**Key duties regarding safety**:

- Adhering to all safe working policies/procedures in accordance with instructions
- Complete prestarts on each vehicle prior to use
- Report any incidents or hazards immediately
- Ensure you are Fit for Work

**Duties relating to the warehouse**:

- Ensure rig orders are picked efficiently and accurately, including uniform, PPE (new starters) and/or special requests
- Operate forklift safely as required within the warehouse and yard
- Participate in stocktakes and cyclecounts as required
- Accurately check goods arriving at the warehouse as per goods receivals process
- Put away stock in to racking, stock bins and/or rig orders as required after it has been checked
- Ensure items placed and in racking are secured to pallet, items are consolidated and packed together where possible
- Complete back-order reporting and assist with identifying low stock levels for items to be ordered

**Duties regarding freight**:

- Ensure items that are booked in for transport are packed, strapped and/or wrapped fit for travel
- Freight tracking - ensure items that are booked in have been collected and follow up on ETA/ETD as required to ensure items are collected and delivered
- Investigation of missing freight
- Maintain and update freight guides with critical information
- Maintain record of freight collections and connotes
- Load and unload vehicles as required or requested
- Complete pickups/deliveries using company and/or hire vehicles as required and requested

**Admin duties will include**:

- Complete inwards receipting accurately and efficiently
- Ensure attention to detail when data entering rig orders and Exo
- Maintain rig order sheets with updates of goods
- Raise and complete purchase orders as required within approved scope of duties
- General housekeeping duties include ensuring the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy._

You need to be accountable for your actions, able to work autonomously, punctual, a team player and meet required deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- Forklift Licence (LF)
- Full C Class Vehicle Licence (Minimum)
- HR Manual Licence (Desirable)
- Previous Warehouse Experience
- Good written and computer literacy skills
- Knowledge of Warehousing Systems and RF Systems (Desirable)
