**What you'll be doing**
Join a dynamic multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based forensic mental health services to individuals in the community across WSLHD. Support recovery and rehabilitation through coordinated care with inpatient and community services. Responsibilities will include:
- Providing forensic mental health assessment, planning and interventions
- Working closely with inpatient units, community teams and Justice Health
- Supporting discharge planning and seamless transition to the community
- Collaborating with case managers and link clients to local supports
- Contributing to team meetings, documentation, and service development

**Essential Requirements**
Qualification: Relevant Tertiary qualification as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist
Registration: Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist, or Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
**Selection Criteria**
- Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness
- Significant Mental Health clinical experience with a multidisciplinary team environment providing Mental Health evidence based practice with within a rehabilitation and recovery paradigm. Experience and/ or understanding of forensic mental health issues will be beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision
- Ability to work with the multidisciplinary team, good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and ability to build therapeutic relationships with clients and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia and willing to use for work purposes
