**About the role**

TAFE NSW has an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals with current experience in **Media, Art, Design and Entertainment** to join our team as a permanent Education Support Officer, located at our** Design Centre, Enmore**.

Your role will be responsible for a range of tasks which directly and indirectly supports the learning process for students from various backgrounds and needs. You will be a part of a dynamic team, helping students to understand their learning materials and concepts whilst creating an innovative and exciting educational environment.

**Note**: This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment.

**A Day in the Life**

This role helps to support and build relationships with the students and student projects in the Media, Art, Design and Entertainment Skills Team in the Sydney Region. You are motivated and dedicated to support delivery teams locally and in Regional NSW and students to achieve their highest potential through effective collaboration and communication with a range of stakeholders.
- Assisting in preparation for student events, exhibitions and end of course shows
- Support delivery team to monitor and maintain student creative showcases
- Support to delivery teams and student either face to face or online

**To be successful in the role you must have**:

- Certificate III in a Creative industry-related field, or above, in one of the following:

- Graphic Design
- Jewellery Design
- Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander Cultural Arts
- Fashion Design
- Interior Design
- Music
- Screen and Media
- Animation
- Games
- Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the Media, Art, Design and Entertainment Industry. You will also need to be an experienced user of ADOBE Creative Suite.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to meet all the selection criteria as outlined in the position description.
