Responsibilities include however, not limited to:

- Accurately perform weighing, fluxing, firing, knocking up, and cupellation of samples in correct numerical order, adhering to established quality control (QC) procedures to prevent contamination.
- Manage the recycling and disposal of pots, slag, cupels, and other waste materials in line with company standards and environmental regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in fire assay areas, ensuring good housekeeping practices and performing basic (non-trades) maintenance of fire assay equipment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately and work to minimize the creation of lead dust in compliance with safety protocols.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure effective communication processes are followed within the team and across departments.

**Qualifications**
The successful applicant will have the following:

- Valid driving license.
- First Aid certification.
- Previous experience working as a fire assayer.
- Demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning and self-development while supporting the development of others.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality results with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Forklift license (desirable but not essential).
