Pace NSW have partnered with global market leader in the freight forwarding industry and they are now on on the lookout for a hard-working, energetic, and motivated Junior Air Freight Operator to join their Sydney Office. This position plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations with a primary focus on Export Airfreight operations, supporting the Import team when required. This is a rare opportunity with huge growth plans, and will allow the successful applicant to be exposed to a wide range of learning and development opportunities.

**About the role**:

- End to end control of the Export & Import Air Freight process
- Liaising with Forwarders, Airlines and Agents daily
- Work closely with the warehouse for check-ins / export build ups & breakdowns
- Liaising & negotiating Carrier rates
- Assist with the Import operations as required
- Rate collation & quoting Export shipments (Imports also when required)

**About you**:

- At least 1 year experience in a freight forwarding environment ideal
- Previous experience with Cargowise advantageous
- Can-do attitude
- Ability to think and act quickly
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong willingness to learn and build a career within the industry
