Are you highly organised, operationally driven, and passionate about quality control in the automotive industry? CarPlace is seeking a proactive and experienced Reconditioning Manager to oversee the preparation of used vehicles for sale and ensure smooth coordination between reconditioning, workshop, and sales teams.

This is a critical, hands-on role where you’ll lead end-to-end vehicle readiness, from arrival through to delivery, ensuring our cars meet the highest standards for quality and efficiency.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- ** Vehicle Workflow**: Manage the flow of used vehicles through reconditioning, repairs, and quality inspections.
- ** Team Coordination**: Oversee internal workshop activity and liaise with external contractors.
- ** Sales & Fulfillment Collaboration**: Keep stakeholders updated on build timelines, delays, or changes.
- ** Job Management**: Raise repair orders, close and cost job cards, and ensure accurate vehicle status tracking.
- ** Quality Control**: Conduct final inspections and ensure all vehicles meet CarPlace standards.
- ** Safety Leadership**: Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support OH&S compliance.
- ** Admin & Reporting**: Handle daily operational admin and participate in ongoing training.

**What You Bring**

**Skills & Experience**:

- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven automotive experience, preferably in a reconditioning or workshop setting.
- Confidence managing workflows, job cards, and external vendors.
- Ability to problem-solve, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative tools.

**Desirable**:

- Prior leadership in a team or coordination role.
- Awareness of health and safety practices and risk control.
- Vocational training or qualifications in a relevant field.

**Licences**:

- Must hold a valid C Class driver’s licence.
