As an Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

About Goodstart Blacktown;
Our Blacktown child care centre consists of two rooms catering for children from two to five years of age. Many of our children and families are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and we are lucky to have educators who can communicate with new families in their native tongue, ensuring all children feel secure and supported upon starting at our centre. It is important to us that we educate our children about sustainability and looking after the environment. Our child care centre has a vegetable patch which children water daily, and we incorporate this fresh produce into our menu when it is ready to be eaten. We also focus on recycling and have specialised recycling bins in each room where children are taught to place scrap paper, cardboard and other recyclable materials.

**You’ll need**:
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Current NSW Working with Children Check
