**Contribute to Groundbreaking Memory Trials with SALHN**

Play a pivotal role in groundbreaking memory research by joining SALHN's Division of Rehabilitation, Aged & Palliative Care as a Clinical Rater - Memory Trials. Conduct comprehensive assessments, accurately record data, and ensure strict adherence to research protocols aimed at advancing our understanding of cognitive impairment. Contribute to cutting-edge studies that have the potential to improve the lives of individuals affected by memory-related disorders.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Clinical Trials Manager and Occupational Therapy Director, this role is responsible for providing cognitive assessments to the Memory Trials Unit within the RAP division. Comprehensive cognitive assessment and intervention services are provided to the designated clients to assist them to meet their potential. Duties for the role will include:

- Provide specialised cognitive clinical assessment services to maximise outcomes of participants in the designated service, who receive treatment from RAP by assessing clients’ cognitive abilities, problems and needs using a variety of formal and informal assessments,
- Collaborating and documenting with team members to initiate, develop, implement and evaluate therapy/activity groups,
- planning and implementing evidence-based intervention programs with outcome measures to evaluate efficacy of therapy programs and introduce new practices in response to evaluations

**About you**:

- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with Occupational Therapy Australia, or
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Psychology Board of Australia,
- Demonstrated ability to undertake assessment and intervention with clients with a variety of disorders and disabilities, particularly those with cognitive impairment,
- Broad experience and clinical expertise in the provision of clinical cognitive services (assessment and treatment) to clients with a range of disorders and disabilities, including those with dementia and responsive behaviours
