Do you have a green thumb? Or maybe you just have some experience in how to tend a small garden?

Volunteers have many skills and life experiences that can help our residents with managing their plants or gardens and assist with gardening groups.

Gardening is more than just a hobby for our residents, it is an activity that boosts their social, mental and physical well-being and supports them with a healthy ageing approach to care. This is why volunteers with a little gardening experience can make such a difference.

We want to hear from you Let us know if you have any skills or experiences that you think would benefit our residents.

**Time commitment**

This role ideally suits a volunteer with 15 hours to give per week. However, we work with all volunteers to set up the most suitable days and times for you. Any amount of time you can give, whether it’s a few days a week or a few hours a month, is valuable for our community and much appreciated.

**Requirements**:
Regardless of the role or location, all volunteers require;
- A current National Police Certificate for the Purpose of Aged Care, or be willing to obtain one
- Evidence you have received the current Influenza Vaccination
- Evidence you have received three vaccinations against COVID-19
