**THE OPPORTUNITY **reporting to Thomas Chapman, our Computational Design Lead**

We are looking for a graduate or professional level member to be part of McGregor Coxall’s Biourbanism Lab, focusing on digital and built environment innovations through research, computer generated software techniques and design communication. The role will entail working on a range of local and international projects focused on protecting and improving the environment and shaping sustainable and liveable cities of the future. This is an exceptional opportunity to be mentored and guided on design, client liaison, presentation skills, computational methodology and programming.

**Key Focus**:

- To work on innovative projects that require highly conceptual thinking;
- To work on competition submissions that build up the studio’s collateral, strengthen its brand and develop relationships with like-minded consultants;
- To work on research projects that link to academia and other public bodies;
- To influence and inspire McGregor Coxall studios on concept innovation, computer generated skills and design communication;
- Provide leadership to student team members while also providing support to senior staff/project team members;
- Liaise with our Biourbanism Lab Lead, Yazid Ninsalam, to ensure a level of coordination with other members of the lab.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Qualified in or working to a degree in a design related field eg. Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Planning or Urban Design, Computational Design;
- A keen interest in building a career in the climate resilient and sustainable environment fields within a multi-disciplinary design practice;
- A minimum of 2 years professional experience, preferably in a consulting practice but not essential;
- You are a motivated, organised team player with a willingness to learn;
