St Thomas More College in Sunnybank are seeking a School Officer for their home-work club, the enthusiastic and motivated School Officer will support students for two hours every afternoon. This is a casual position working 2 - 4 hours per week based on a roster system. In this role you will be expected to provide assistance to students who are completing homework, studying for exams, and preparing for assignments under the supervision of a registered teacher.
**To be successful in this role, you will be able to meet the following criteria**:
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills,
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills,
- Proven organisational skills,
- An ability to work in partnership with colleagues and students,
- Hold a Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (High School Certificate)
**To be eligible to be considered for this role you will**:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
