Position: Security Installation Technician

Location: Queensland

Full Time: Casual
- 40 hours per week: $35-$48 per hour.

SJS Electronic Security is a local small business who prides itself on providing a supportive work environment.

We are seeking an experienced Security Technician, to be employed on a casual basis up to 40 hours per week, working approximately 6:30am
- 2:30pm Monday
- Friday. Must have own vehicle.

In this role you will be responsible for operating in the Greater Brisbane Area, providing technical support and solutions to our clients. Above award wages.

Key Responsibilities
- Installing, servicing and commissioning a wide range of alarms/security systems, CCTV systems, intercom systems, access control and integrated systems
- Setting up and troubleshooting of alarms/security systems, CCTV systems, intercom systems, access control and integrated systems
- Interpreting electrical plans and wiring plans for data
- Testing and fault finding, and implementing solutions, planning cable runs and engaging with clients

The successful applicant will have:

- Experience in one or more of the following areas: security and access control, CCTV, intercoms, IT networking and home automation solutions.
- An understanding of electronic security systems
- Security Providers licence
- AMCA Cabler’s licence
- An open Australian driver’s licence
- A construction industry white card or willingness to obtain one
- A clean criminal history and willingness to obtain a national police check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour
