**About BaptistCare Cooinda Court**

**Designed with a **people-first approach**, Cooinda Court is a beautiful aged care home set amongst tranquil landscaped gardens.**:
Located just a short stroll from local shops and transport, Cooinda Court features peaceful retreat areas, barbecue facilities, and a recently renovated dining room serving freshly cooked, homely meals. The library, piano and sewing rooms also provide cosy settings in which to sit and relax, by yourself, with friends, or with your family.

**About the role**

As a Carer, you'll get to know your residents by supporting their choices, preferences and needs during your shifts. We are hiring for Carers on a **Permanent Part time and Casual basis** depending on availability.
The Centre have a variety of shifts on offer which will be discussed during interview

**Duties may include**:

- Assistance with a wide range of Person-Centered care in accordance with care plans
- Assistance with medication
- Simple wound dressing
- Assistance with activities under supervision
- Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love

**Skills & experience**
- Previous experience as a Care Service Employee (desirable)
- Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others
- Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable or a willingness to obtain
