**What You’ll Do**

As an** Environmental Services Worker,**you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and hygienic environment for residents within our **Lady Small Haven Aged Care facility**. Your work will help ensure that our residents feel comfortable, cared for, and at home. This is a varied role where no two days are the same.

**You'll handle**:

- Cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and safe environment for residents and staff.
- Laundry tasks, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and labeling resident clothing and linens.
- Distribution of linen and resident clothing; maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry and equipment.

**About You**

To thrive in this role, you should have:

- Experience in cleaning or laundry services, preferably in aged care.
- A genuine passion for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Outlook and Internet Explorer.

**Desirable**
- Previous relevant work experience, preferably within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- A qualification relevant to the field.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a current National Police Certificate or the ability to acquire one.
- Possess a current NDIS Worker Screening Check or the ability to acquire one, (where the service and role supports individual NDIS participants).
