The **Security Advisor / Systems Manager **works with the Chief Security Officer and taking carriage on behalf of the CSO, in maintaining RPS’ Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) membership and compliance and managing Systems to support of the Project Management division.
**ABOUT TEH ROLE**
The purpose is to support project teams across our Australian Federal Government engagements by ensuring staff compliance with the customer’s onboarding, offboarding and other security administrative processes. Understanding, interpreting and keeping abreast of Govt policies, Defence Contracts changes, emerging security threats will be key to ensuring our processes and frameworks comply.
You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure processes are fit-for-purpose, report on the progress of security tasks, and communicate security expectations.
This role would ideally suit a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced administrative environment and across multiple teams to achieve results and contribute to business success.
**ABOUT YOU**
- ** MUST **be Australian Citizen and currently hold or are capable of achieving an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance NV2
- Experience as a Defence security officer or recently worked in the Defence environment
- In depth knowledge of the DISP and the Australian Defence Security Protective Framework (DSPF)
- Understanding of key Government security frameworks including the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and the Information Security Manual (ISM)
- Well-developed presentation and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail
- Intermediate skill level using the Microsoft suite of Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
