**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**

We are searching for a hands-on **Warehouse Supervisor** to coordinate the day-to-day operations of the **Newcastle**warehouse and support team leaders to ensure site goals are achieved.

The primary purpose of the role is to supervise and assign warehouse operational tasks to teams, including receipting of inbound goods, putting away of inventory, order picking, customer order packing, and freight consignment of goods to customers.

Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Lead our warehouse teams to deliver results, driving continuous improvements in Safety, Service and Productivity
- Manage operational labour performance, and take action to ensure targets are consistently achieved
- Recruit, induct, onboard and train all newly hired employees
- Coach, mentor and drive performance of the warehouse team, providing clearly defined tasks and feedback
- Conduct performance development planning with all direct reports and identify opportunities for career development and succession planning
- Actively participate to ensure a safe working environment for all, monitoring and reporting on Work Health & Safety compliance

To be successful, you will have:

- 2+ years experience in a fast paced role essential, previous leadership experience desirable
- Warehouse experience and/or exposure to industrial products preferred
- Forklift licence and high reach experience essential
- Experience with performance management and driving a team to successful outcomes required
- Resolution and results focused, self motivated, and can prioritise and problem solve efficiently
- Good computer/MS Suite skills are critical to this role, and previous experience with MS Dynamics highly regarded
