Job description

We are one of Sydney's top artisan bakeries with an award winning flagship café located in Chippendale serving some of the best pastries, cakes and bread in Sydney with another retail outlet soon to open.

We are currently seeking experienced Café All Rounder to join our café team.

Reporting to our Café Manager, this role is ideal for someone looking to advance their hospitality career with one of the best teams in Sydney.

We are looking for focused and friendly FOH superstars to join our team and help deliver the following key points:
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- A passion for coffee with strong understanding of volumetrics, grinder adjustments and coffee equipment cleaning
- Previous experience with specialty coffee and latte art
- An eye for detail and quality, you will be required to work both autonomously and with another barista
- Love looking after customers and delivering every little detail of customer service
- Strong communication & focus on the floor with experience and energy to run a tight little section and work with other front of house staff and sections

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Excellent spoken and written English
- Good physical fitness (lifting bread crates, setting up section)

**AVAILABILITY**:

- Role is 6:15AM-3PM Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

**ABOUT BRICKFIELDS**:
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $28.37 per hour

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (required)
