**About You**:
Attention to detail isn’t just a skill for you—it’s who you are. You take pride in precision, safety, and getting things right the first time. With experience in switchboard and control panel manufacturing, you know your way around technical drawings and enjoy working with a team to deliver top-quality work.

You're a natural problem solver who can spot faults, test systems, and collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and electricians to make sure everything runs smoothly. If you’re motivated, results-driven, and want to be part of a fast-paced, supportive team, we’d love to have you on board

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Installation of electrical switchgear, cabling, and wiring in accordance with Australian Standards, manufacturer recommendations, and client specifications.
- Assembly, wiring, and testing of switchboards, control panels, distribution boards, and metering panels.
- Interpreting and working from electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and GA drawings.
- Performing functional checks, fault finding, and circuit verification.
- Installation and termination of switchboard control devices, including LV/motor control wiring, PLC, and DDC systems.
- Manufacturing and installation of bus bar systems.
- Installing meters, instruments, and relays.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
- Communicating material requirements and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Carrying out duties as instructed by your supervisor.

**Skills & Key Requirements**:

- **Minimum 2 years of experience** in switchboard manufacturing.
- Experience in control panel and switchboard manufacturing.
- Strong ability to interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience in fault finding, functional checks, and testing of electrical systems.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift License and First Aid certification (desirable but not essential).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

- Switchboard builder: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Electrical Licence (preferred)
