**Key Responsibilities**:
1. People Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Customer Service Specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Effectively manage remote staff.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to empower team members to achieve their individual and collective goals.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set objectives, and implement development plans to maximize team effectiveness.
2. Financial Management:
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals for the strategic accounts portfolio.
- Analyse financial data, identify trends, and implement cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with finance & commercial teams to forecast revenue, manage budgets, and optimize resource allocation.
3. Operational Excellence and KPI Management:
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of strategic accounts and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement operational plans to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues promptly and ensure seamless execution of freight forwarding services.
4. Customer Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at strategic accounts.
- Anticipate customer needs, proactively address concerns, and identify opportunities to add value and exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to identify growth opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and expand the scope of services offered to strategic accounts.

- Customer Focus: Exceptional relationship-building skills with a customer-centric mindset, dedicated to delivering superior service and building long-lasting partnerships.
- Operational Excellence: Thorough understanding of freight forwarding operations, coupled with the ability to optimize processes, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Communication and Influencing Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas, negotiate terms, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
