**Children’s Art teacher**

At Starry Arts School, we are looking for art tutors with either an art, design, architecture or teaching background. The primary focus of this position is to teach Starry Arts School visual arts programs to children aged 5-18.

Tutors will be responsible for managing small classes up to 10 and encourage ideas, creativity, problem-solving skills for children during their art classes. Tutors will have opportunities to teach in-person at our Burwood studio or remotely. We are looking for someone who is fun, lively and have a passion for educating children and creating a creative and fun environment for them

**Working times**:
Monday - Friday after school hours

Weekends

Position: Part-Time, Casual

Training will be provided.

**Experience and qualifications**
- Working With Children Check current and not expired
- Bachelor Degree (preferred) or pursuing in the education, fine arts and design-related fields

**Work eligibility**:

- Permitted to work permanent with no restrictions on hours (e.g. citizen, Permanent resident) - required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
