The Gidley is searching for an experienced bar supervisor to join the team. Located in Sydney’s CBD on the corner of King and Elizabeth streets, the venue offers one of Sydney’s most unique fit outs, including the lounge “bar without a bar” that ironically won Best Restaurant Bar at the Australian Bartender Magazine Awards.

**About the Role**:
If you are as much of a host as a bartender with a penchant to own a room and deliver memorable guest experiences, The Gidley is for you.

**Focus of the Position**:

- To provide exceptional customer service
- Responsible for operations of the bar
- Leading staff and implementing procedures
- Maintenance and drive of drinks lists & sales
- To assist in redesign of cocktail/drinks menu
- Maintain high levels of all beverage service at all times
- To assist the General and Venue Manager with tasks pertaining to running services, including taking on supervision of services when required
- Supervising all staff, reporting on staff performances, overseeing of duties performed and reporting to the Bar Manager
- Support Host team

**Essential skills & traits**:

- Minimum two years experience working in a hatted restaurant bar
- Initiative in developing & sharing your knowledge and growth
- Positive, jovial, cheeky, leads a team.
- RSA certification.
