**About the Role**:
The Team Manager supports the achievement of API’s Vision and Supply Chains purpose by managing the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the team on a day-to-day basis. The primary focus is to ensure that all operational KPI’s are met by the team and therefore need to ensure that teams across the shift are working collaboratively to achieve:

- Safety Standards
- Service (On Time and Accurate)
- Cost

In keeping with our vision, the Distribution Centre ensures timely service and product delivery of health care consumables to a very large network of Pharmacies including Priceline Retail nationally.

Reporting to the DC Shift Manager, we are looking for a strong leader with proven warehousing experience to lead and develop our team. The role has a strong focus on safety and the timely delivery of medicines and retail lines; as well as the effective operation of the DC on a day-to-day basis.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Providing exceptional service to internal and external customers by delivering KPI's and maintaining positive working relationships
- Ensuring appropriate resources are available to fulfil daily task demand
- Setting, maintaining and managing high standards of work across the operations team
- Ensuring the operations team and systems adhere to all quality policies and procedures
- Presenting improvements in procedures and practices to promote efficiency, service improvement and differentiation

**About you**:

- Experience in a supervisory capacity of a logistics or production facility
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a workforce within a unionised site

Demonstrated understanding of:

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ideal experience from Pharmacy or FMCG supply chains

**Qualifications**
- Supply chain or Business related qualification preferred
