**About the Role**

To support our growth focused approach, We are currently seeking an experienced
**Yard & Logistics Supervisor** to join our team in
**Adelaide branch **located in
**Edinburgh North.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Embody the Yes We Can ethos in all aspects of the role and responsibilities.
- Adapt, promote and demand a Safety-First approach.
- Accountable for managing the daily operations of the Branch logistics and yard operations.
- Forward planning for growth and continuous improvement for deliveries.
- Handheld management and implementation.
- Ensure co-ordination of training is provided for current and future yard staff to the required standards.
- Effective and efficient management of all drivers and yard staff
- Be pro-active in reviewing cylinder and bulk runs on a regular basis and reorganise as required to balance the workload, improve service and business efficiency.
- Ensure driver manifests balance and discrepancies resolved within 24 hours.
- Ensure customers are advised of delayed deliveries - bulk/cylinder/all products.
- Assist BM in managing delivery costs
- Assist BM in ensuring all PM tasks are completed each month
- Ensure external and internal customers are treated equally.
- Spend consistent and quality time in field to mentor and coach direct reports to maximise potential.
- Other tasks as required from time to time.
- Must have a valid forklift license.
- MR license is preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 1 year 'experience as a Yard / Logistics Supervisor.
- Previous gas industry experience advantageous but not essential.
- Intermediate level of computer skills is essential (Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook).
- Proven leadership skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service and drive to promote continual improvement.
- Ability to work in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Highly motivated with a flexible “can do” attitude.
