**Job Overview**

As a Video Editor at Flowlane, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing high-quality video content across various formats including trailers, social media videos, mini-documentaries, VSLs, YouTube content and more. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that every project meets our high creative standards and resonates with our target audience. Your expertise in video editing, creative storytelling, and technical execution will be key to producing world-class content that drives engagement and supports our marketing goals.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Video Editing & Post-production**:

- Edit, cut, and produce high-quality video content across multiple formats such as trailers, social media videos, mini-documentaries, VSLs, YouTube content, case studies, training videos and more.
- Ensure world-class pacing, sound design, and art direction in all projects.

**Creative Direction & Collaboration**:

- Work closely with creative teams to conceptualize and execute compelling visual storytelling ideas.
- Collaborate with strategists and graphic designers to ensure alignment with the overall creative vision.

**Motion Graphics & Visual Effects (preferred)**:

- Integrate and create motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video content.
- Utilize motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) to develop lower thirds, transitions, and other dynamic elements.

**Quality & Technical Execution**:

- Ensure all final edits meet quality standards and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Optimize video formats for various distribution channels and platforms.

**Project Management**:

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Maintain organized project files and communicate progress with stakeholders.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

**Extensive Video Editing Experience**:

- Minimum 8 years in video editing and post-production.
- Proven experience in editing a variety of video content including trailers, social media videos, mini-documentaries, VSLs, YouTube content, case studies, training videos and more.

**Technical Expertise**:

- Proficient with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Excellent understanding of pacing, sound design, and creative visual storytelling.
- Experience with motion graphics is preferred (e.g., Adobe After Effects).

**Creative & Strategic Mindset**:

- Exceptional creative vision and artistic sensibility.
- Strong ability to conceptualize and execute innovative video content that resonates with diverse audiences.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.

**Bonus**: if you also have _videography experience_, this is preferred.
