**About The Centre**

Thrive Hornsby follows a play-based learning approach in a bright and modern building with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for children to explore.

The supportive centre leadership team empower educators to do their best through opportunities for learning and development, including off the floor programming time, as well as opportunities to upskill as part of our growing centre.

**About The Role**

Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a diploma qualified educator to join the team and lead a room of dedicated educators.

We are looking for someone with experience in assisting with programming and the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families, and colleagues.

**Your main responsibilities will be to**:

- Support educators to assess each child’s learning and development in relation to the approved learning framework, other contemporary theories and the Thrive curriculum
- Support educators to critically reflect on each child’s learning and development and on their own pedagogy as part of everyday practice
- Reflect on educational pedagogy as part of everyday practice
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members
- Maintain effective communication with parents
- Uphold strong work values with a focus on being your best by doing your best
- A completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- A current NSW Employee Working With Children's Check
