**About the Role**:
We are currently recruiting for a Store Manager based at our Sydney International Airport site to provide support and guidance across two stores. The successful applicant will be a modest leader, have a well developed sense of initiative and be decisive. They will be creative, committed, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to different environments. As a Store Manager at WHSmith, you will be responsible for:

- Leading a 'Customer first' culture
- Training and developing the team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Driving sales strategies and key performance indicators (KPI's) with your team
- Merchandising and stock rotation
- Managing stock and labour costs
- Ensuring excellent communication with your team and customers.
- Follow a rotating roster (including weekend coverage).

**What We're Looking For**:
We are particularly looking for a natural born leader with strong stock and retail management experience, along with the following:

- 2 year's management experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Experience managing stock and labour costs
- Leadership and mentoring abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with work hours and willingness to work weekends/public holidays when required.
