Storeperson Assistant

We have an opportunity available in our Gold Coast Workshop for a Storeperson's Assistant / Workshop TA with a high attention to detail, good attitude, quality focused and the ability to take direction and work in a team environment. There is opportunity for career progression for the right person. A high regard for safety is essential.

Experience / Qualifications:

- Manual driver’s license C class.
- High Risk QLD Forklift licence.
- Good mechanical aptitude is a must with proven ability to problem solve. Must be willing to learn all facets of overhauling drilling tools.
- Minimum of Year 10 education required with good grades in Maths and English advantageous.
- Experience with working at heights - pallet racking, and around in tight areas with forklift an advantage.
- Ability to safely use and operate hand and power tools.
- Storeman experience highly regarded.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
- Have full Australian work rights.

Primary Duties:

- Preparing tools for loadout - pallets, skids, wrapping
- Loading and unloading trucks, preparing paperwork as required.
- Disassembly, washing and preparation of drilling tools and equipment.
- Painting completed tools.
- Preparing drilling tools for inspection.
- Assisting in the servicing and cleaning of drilling tools.
- Ensure tools are kept presentable and ready for rental.
- Keeping workshop and company vehicles clean.
- General yard and workshop duties including cleaning/housekeeping.
- High levels of health and safety is a must.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

- Storeperson: 1 year (preferred)
