Do you have a passion to work as a member of an experienced childcare team and provide a high-quality childcare service for up to 39 children daily from 0-5 years of age? We are seeking a committed Early Childhood Educator (Cert III qualified) with effective communication skills who will advocate and implement an anti-bias approach in all interactions with families, children, staff, and community visitors.

This role will be an integral part of an open, supportive team environment to implement a challenging program for children and assures parents that the Centre is providing a high-quality service.

Moverly Children’s Centre is nestled on the fringe of The Randwick Environmental Park, inhabited with native flora and fauna and with an exclusive space of our own it presents as an extension of our curriculum. **We will trust you to bring**:

- Certificate III in Children’s Services.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Previous experience in working with children in a child-care setting including experience in observation, programming and planning to meet individual needs of children.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to be a functional member of a team.
- Ability to assist in creating a warm, encouraging learning environment for all children.
- Understanding of health and safety issues and children’s services regulations.
- An NSW Working with Children Clearance, as per the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012, obtained via the Office of the Children’s Guardian.

**Things you will do**:

- Assist with the implementation of short and long term individual developmental and education programs for children.
- Take shared responsibility for individual and groups of children to ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
- Liaise with parents and the team to ensure the Centre’s developmental records, children’s observations and work samples are presented in a professional manner.
- Provide families with a high level of customer service and high-quality care.
- Ensure the safety of our children, providing them with a secure, caring, and developmental environment.
- Report all accidents, incidents, and hazards to team leader/immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
