Why this role matters

We have a full-time permanent position based in Perth. Reporting to the Group Talent and Transition Manager, you will be an integral member of the Transition Team providing operational HR Redeployment advice and support services to line managers and redeployees by assisting HR Managers, HR Business Partner’s, and the Talent Acquisition Team. As HR Business Advisor you will manage and support the transition and redeployment process across The Salvation Army ensuring best practice process is adhered to.

You will successfully- Provide end-to-end process and administrative support to HRBP’s for organisational change impact processes and procedures.- Provide advice and guidance to managers and HR Business Partners regarding redeployees HR legislation, TSA policy, and redundancy processes in consultation with Workplace Relations as required.- Assist with the onboarding of redeployees into new roles.- Support employees impacted by change through TSA’s consultation, redeployment and redundancy process- Review and update position descriptions as required- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR Business Partners and HR Managers nationally to ensure the delivery of consistent HR support that meets the needs of our customers.- Provide administration support to Graduate/Intern and Traineeship programmes- Develop and maintain relationships with managers to enable the effective provision of HR support.- Work collaboratively and participate in HR projects and HR initiatives for the maintenance and enhancement of organisational HR policies, procedures, and practices.- Arranging for advertising of job vacancies, interviewing and testing of applicants, and selection of staff for traineeships and grad programmes- Manage end to end process in Workday whilst maintaining Workday Data integrity as part of transition process- Providing advice and information to management on workplace relations policies and procedures- Arranging the onboarding of redeployed staff and providing information on conditions of service, salaries and promotional opportunities- Studying and interpreting legislation, awards, and employment contracts

Salary and conditions of employment within annualised salary range of $60,000 - $66,000 per annum + Super and NFP salary packaging benefits.

What we're looking for

Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements- A degree qualification in HR, Business, or similar field (desirable)- National Police Check

Required Experience- 1-4 years' experience in a HR administration/advisory role- Significant Working knowledge of Workday- Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing system- A strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite programs and capabilities- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
