Spirits Buyer

Stuck in hospitality and feel like a fresh challenge?

We are looking for a Spirits Buyer (Specialist) to join our team and curate product selection for our tasting boxes.

The role is based in Sydney and will be reporting to the Product Team & Marketing Teams. You will be responsible for product selection, tasting note writing of Whisky, Gin, Spirits & Cocktails.

You'll be working with the world's best distilleries and the world's greatest spirits. You will build on what has become one of Australia's most talked-about brands by taking risks and turning heads with products that continually make the Loots famous. We are looking for a proven performer with the ability to adapt to a wide variety of challenges and to maintain a commercial mindset to drive the business forward.

- Lead the evolution of Liquor Loot with expert product selection
- Develop written content giving flair and confidence in your writing
- Educate and inspire our spirits loving audience with your expertise and insights.
- Manage the products from concept to launch, ensuring we're always on-trend and inspire confidence in our selections.
- Maintain a relationship and ongoing dialogue with new & existing distilleries.
- Lead spirits research and tasting notes development requirements.

**Ideal background...**
- 3+ years in spirits, as a brand ambassador or educator with hands-on experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively to a range of education levels.
- High-level attention to detail.
- Bartender or retail spirits sales experience highly regarded.
- Video presenting & content experience are highly regarded.
