Carrera By Design is hiring a Full time Joinery Drafting Manager - Cabinet Vision role in Smithfield, NSW.

Carrera By Design is seeking an accomplished Joinery Drafter with expertise in Cabinet Vision and S2M for the role of Drafting Manager. This pivotal position involves managing our drafting department, overseeing the Cabinet Vision Library/Database, and contributing to the efficient operation of our joinery and cabinet production processes.We are in search of an individual who thrives on challenges, is exceptionally skilled in Cabinet Vision programming, USC writing, and adept at creative probleM solving. Key Qualifications:
1. Extensive Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Drafting and Designing Kitchen cabinets and Joinery is required.

2. Cabinet Vision Expertise: Proficiency in Cabinet Vision 9 is mandatory, with the ability to migrate from CV 9 to the latest version, CV 23.

3. S2M Experience: Prior experience with Nesting using Screen2Machine (S2M) is essential.

4. Cabinet Making Advantage: Experience as a cabinet maker is advantageous, providing valuable insights into the practical aspects of joinery.

5. Design and Sales Knowledge: While not mandatory, any experience in design and sales can be a significant advantage in this role.

6. Technical Precision: Demonstrated ability to produce accurate and efficient plans that meet exacting standards.

7. Construction Background: Familiarity with domestic building, design, or construction-related processes will be highly beneficial.

8. Knowledge Sharing: A willingness and ability to impart your technical knowledge to others, promoting a culture of continuous learning.

9. Reliability: Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility are crucial attributes for this role.

10. Team Player: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential.

11. Effective Communicator: Proficiency in communication is key, as the role involves overseeing the connection between the drafting department and our factory production team.

12. Ownership and Problem Solving: We are looking for an individual who will take ownership of their responsibilities and proactively resolve any challenges that arise. Note: All applicants must be fluent in the English language.
