The MJ Group is a leading specialist in the Sheepskin and Leather industry. Having been established in Melbourne since 1991, our main business is in the tanning of premium Australian sheepskin products.

With a factory located in Laverton North, and a wholesale network across Australia, we manufacture and sell natural sheepskin products for various industries.

**About the role**:
We are currently seeking Production Operators to join our team at our new tannery located in Laverton North 3026, working day shifts Monday to Friday, starting at 8am. Training is provided on-site and we are looking for people with a Can-do positive attitude for long-term growth.

As a Production Operator, you will be required to complete various manufacturing processes associated with tanning sheepskin hides to meet daily targets.

Training will be provided on the job, so no prior experience is necessary.

**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Must be reliable and trustworthy by nature
- Be a self-starter and motivator
- Basic production worker experience desirable but not essential
- Be aware of safe WH&S practice
- This role involves lifting of hides and physical movements, so would be suited to someone who is physically fit with reasonable strength.
- A forklift license will be ideal but not essential, and any experience in hide tanning will be advantageous.
