**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**

The duties of a Landscape Gardener typically include:

- Planning and constructing gardens and landscaped environments.
- Planting and maintaining lawns, shrubs, trees, and flowers.
- Installing irrigation systems and outdoor structures (e.g., pergolas, garden beds, retaining walls).
- Pruning, fertilising, mulching, and pest management.
- Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and machinery.
- Assessing soil conditions and recommending plant species and garden designs suited to site conditions.
- Working from landscape plans and drawings to achieve desired designs.
- Liaising with clients and team members to ensure project expectations are met.

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience in landscape gardening, ideally within a boutique or high-end residential setting.
- Solid knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and garden design principles.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans.
- Competency in using a variety of gardening tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.

**Qualifications**
- Certificate III in Horticulture, Landscape Construction, or equivalent (preferred).
- Current driver’s licence (essential).
- White Card and any relevant tickets (e.g., chainsaw, excavator) are advantageous.
