- Who are we- Fugro are the world’s leading independent provider of geo-intelligence and asset integrity solutions for large construction, infrastructure and natural resource projects.- This role will be working for our land division, where we acquire data using a sophisticated, cutting-edge system called ROAMES to deliver a complete and accurate 3D virtual model of infrastructure networks and whole cities. We use this system to remotely investigate and monitor the safety, condition and performance of our client's power grid.- The Opportunity- Reporting to the Geo-data Manager this role can be based in either our Perth, Brisbane or Adelaide office.- This role is focused on ensuring that all of the geo-data operations services for the Land division run smoothly. This includes observing performance metrics, managing supplier relationships and ensuring all services are delivered on time, on budget and to our highest standards.- This would suit someone who is in their final semester of university, who has the capacity to work full time hours, or recently graduated and looking to join a great team with an amazing opportunity to develop skills whilst on the job.- Key Focus- Ensuring the Fugro quality standards are applied around Geospatial integrity for both acquisition and processing
- Work closely with the different services lines to improve efficiencies
- Prioritise processing tasks to meet client expectations
- Provide updates on each project to the relevant parties
- Ensure products generated are robust from a geospatial accuracy perspective
- Be across technical innovations and provide advice on integrating those new technologies
- Technical ownership for data and data pipelines to ensure compliance with business requirements and relevant industry standards
- About You- Your success in securing this role will require:
- Qualification or significantly way through your degree in Engineering, Geospatial science, Project Management or other relevant tertiary education
- You will have strong data management skills
- Have a project focus and results oriented
- Be able to look holistically and collaborate naturally with other functions
- Previous experience in the industry would be of benefit - Power Utility, Remote Sensing and Mapping
