We are currently recruiting a Communications Manager - Sport to working closely with Fox Sports, Foxtel and Kayo Sports, Australia’s leading and most innovative sports streaming service, where you’ll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional content to millions of sports fans.

As our Communications Manager, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to work closely with our incredible sports teams, athletes, and partners to enhance the visibility and reputation of our brand across multiple platforms.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting and executing strategic communication plans that elevate the profile of our talent, events, and initiatives. You’ll work collaboratively with our ambassadors and stakeholders, creating engaging content, managing high-profile events, and earning valuable media coverage that reaches and influences new audiences. Your expertise will help us tell compelling stories that highlight the talent, innovation, and diverse sporting content that sets Fox Sports and Kayo Sports apart from the competition.

Your success will be measured by the share of voice we secure in media, our ability to connect with new audiences, and our ability to shine a spotlight on the rich variety of sports we offer.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of the sports media landscape and a passion for storytelling to truly shape how we engage with fans and the wider public.

**In this role you will be responsible for**
- **Publicity and Relationship Management**: Leverage relationships with partners, stakeholders, and your media network to secure coverage and drive viewership for sports on Fox Sports and Kayo, including Rugby League, Australian Rules Football, Netball, Motorsport, Boxing, MMA, Golf, and Surfing.
- **Talent Management**: Partner with agents and managers of both established and emerging talent to promote Fox Sports’ world-class talent and ambassadors through proactive and reactive media opportunities across various platforms.
- **Earned-First Storytelling**: Push creative boundaries to craft and leverage compelling stories across channels, reaching broader audiences and fueling new opportunities for growth.
- **Strategy and Creativity Support**: Create and execute impactful PR campaigns that support the overall publicity strategy, staying inspired by trends in the sports world and seeking fresh ways to engage audiences.

**Your background should include**:

- **Storytelling and Editorial Expertise**: Experience and passion for Sports media, storytelling, and creating compelling content across platforms
- **Project Management Expertise**: Experience managing campaigns from ideation to execution, with strong stakeholder engagement and leadership
- **Highly Organised and Accountable**: Strong organisational skills, a creative mindset, and accountability for outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- **Publicity and Talent Expertise**: Experience navigating publicity, managing talent, and handling high-profile events and launches. You’ll have hands-on experience and continually push boundaries to improve and innovate in every opportunity
- **Curiosity**: A natural inquisitiveness, always seeking new insights and innovative ways to drive the business forward
