Brighton Tree Man is a family run arboriculture business, specialising in Bayside and South-Eastern Melbourne suburbs for over 60 years. We are currently seeking an apprentice arborist who is wanting to take the next step in their Arboriculture career.

We offer a rewarding salary package with one-on-one on-site training with a qualified arborist and will work closely with you to support your career progression.

Responsibilities for this position will include:

- Tree removals, hedging, mulching, stump grinding, tree climbing
- Operating machinery such as: chainsaws, hedge trimmer, wood chipper, stump grinders, etc.
- General garden maintenance
- Equipment maintenance

Must have:

- Ability to undertake manual/physical work
- Genuine interest in landscaping
- Punctual, reliable and energetic
- High level of attention to detail 
- Good, strong work ethics and time management skills
- Be a confident communicator
- Hold a Victorian Driver’s License
- Be willing to work with heights
- Be motivated to learn and willing to work

Work locations: Bayside Melbourne, South Eastern Melbourne Suburbs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $25.87 - $41.70 per hour
