Disability support worker need for day shifts and active nights.

Smiles To build provides support for a 12 year old fun loving boy who has multiple disability (Challenging behavior/ emotional regulation and physical disabilities. we focus on holistic model of care and skill development. Support staff will work with allied health care professionals to setup tailor support needs
- Helping and guiding child to develop their independent daily living skills
- Providing care for child who have complex and challenging needs in terms of their behaviour, physical, emotional, and developmental well-being.
- Assistance in the meal preparation for child
- Accompanying child on community access, social events
- Providing general care and emotional support to child
- Daily documentations (case notes, and other recording charts
- Medication Administration
- Implementing person centered approach
- Coordination with team members
- Complex disability experience / cerebral palsy/ epilepsy/ non-verbal. Lo

**We are looking for Casual staff to work with our Client located south Suburb. To work with a team of 5 other support Workers**

**Essential Criteria**
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support, Disability Care, or relevant field
- DCSI police Clearance or Working with Children Check
- Valid Australian drivers license
- The right to work in Australia
- Working with children’s check,
- CPR/ first aid
- Flu immunisation
- COVID-19 immunisation.
- Medication Competent Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Manual Handling
- Min 3 years experience.

You will be employed under wages

Pay rate is SCHADS L2 P3

Basic rate $42.79

+first aid allowance

+soiled clothing

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $42.79 - $79.07 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Support worker: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- English clearly (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Ability to Commute:
