**About the role**:
Our team at Mater Mental Health Centre Waratah are seeking fabulous staff to join our committed team demonstrating their work with pride and compassion for the sick. Our hospital assistants play an important role towards the day to day duties of keeping the facilities at a high standard and ensuring infection prevention and control. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning of bathrooms

The positions work across a 7-day roster across morning and afternoon shifts.

A typical day brings interaction with a range of patients, clinical and non-clinical staff across various departments. You will perform cleaning tasks and infection control procedures in line with the Hospital policy and procedures.
