North East Melbourne Area (NEMA) are currently recruiting Advanced Child Protection Practitioners (CPP4) in case management, contracted case management and investigation and response to join their highly motivated workforce in their Northern Metro office. Applicants with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services to vulnerable children and families are urgently required.
You will be provided with a range of professional pathways that support your personal growth and development along with access to qualified support networks (EAP).

Position Summary
The Advanced Child Protection Practitioner receives and assesses reports of alleged abuse and neglect of children and young people. They undertake investigations and develop plans to bring about the changes necessary to ensure the safety, stability and development of children and young people and to promote the achievement of case plan objectives within specified timeframes. This may include taking matters to court.
Mandatory Requirements
- A current valid driver's licence
- A valid Employee Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- A recognised Social Work degree, a similar welfare or behavioural related degree or an ACWA accredited Diploma of Community Services.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS POLICY
