Casual Cricket Coach

Are you passionate about cricket and committed to developing the next generation of players? We are seeking a Cricket Coach to join our team in Arundel, Gold Coast. As a Batting Coach, you will have the opportunity to work closely with young athletes, helping them hone their skills, build confidence, and develop a love for the game.

*This position is ideal for someone looking for a bit of extra cash weekly. Wants to stay connected to the game and learn some of the best coaching methods to increase player performance*

**Responsibilities**:

- **Conduct Coaching Sessions**: Lead engaging and dynamic coaching sessions focused on skill development and strategy. Create a positive and inclusive environment where players feel motivated to improve.
- **Player Assessment**: Evaluate players' strengths and weaknesses to tailor coaching strategies and drills accordingly. Provide constructive feedback to help players progress and reach their full potential.
- **Skill Enhancement**: Work with individual players to enhance batting skills. Implement innovative techniques and training methods to maximize performance.
- **Game Preparation**: Prepare players for matches by simulating game scenarios, and discussing game tactics. Instill strategic decision-making skills to excel in competitive situations.
- **Coach Development**: Participate in video analysis sessions provided by the head coach, focusing on personal development and skill enhancement as a coach. Implement learned techniques and strategies into coaching practices.
- **Communication**: Maintain open and clear communication with players and parents. Keep stakeholders informed about training schedules, progress, and any relevant updates.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience playing cricket at a competitive level.
- Strong knowledge of cricket rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one.
- Minimum Level 1 Cricket Coaching Certificate
- Availability to work 2-8 hours per week.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 8 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
