**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a Quality Specialist with a large Government agency who will ensure the ongoing implementation, review and maintenance of the department’s internal Quality Assurance Framework for the performance of its roles and functions under the Regulatory and Assurance Framework for Local Water Utilities.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Ensure the ongoing implementation, review and maintenance of the department’s internal Quality Assurance Framework for the performance of its roles and functions under the Regulatory and Assurance Framework for Local Water Utilities.
- Implement and foster a branch culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain an auditing and reporting system that provides the right level of oversight on implementation status to the branch’s management team.
- Provide training and upskilling to staff across the branch in the Internal Quality Assurance Framework so they are enabled to contribute as required.
- Ensure branch wide consistency in the use of content management tools (including Sharepoint,CM9 and Borealis) so staff can independently access the information they need to perform their roles.
- Ensure Branch wide compliance with records management requirements.
- Provide expert advice and assistance to staff in the development of policies, procedures and other workflows so they reflect the guiding principles (Section 2.2) of the Regulatory and Assurance Framework for Local Water Utilities.

**About You**
- Experience in implementing and maintaining a quality management or quality assurance system.
- Experience running continuous improvement processes.
- Experience in auditing and training.
- Knowledge of relevant quality management standards (e.g.ISO9001).
