**Position Summary**
**Rostering Officer | Kirra Residential Aged Care Facility**
- **Permanent, Part-Time position (64 hrs a Fortnight)** including some flexibility with start and finish times
- **Location**:Kirra Queensland (5 minutes walk to Kirra Beach and surrounding beautiful beachside location)
- **Remuneration**: Compelling package, 10.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + other benefits.

**Your part in our BlueCare team**
- The first thing you’ll notice when entering Kirrahaven is that it is a friendly and warm environment that is resident focused and supportive of the local community.- We are seeking someone with experience in a Rostering background and/or who has the passion and skills necessary to learn our systems and work closely with our Residential Service Manager.- As a Rostering Officer, you will be working with a close-knit team and provide a roster that is fair and equitable, supports a work life balance for staff and meets the care needs of the residents.- You will ensure integrity of data in the rostering system and perform timely advisory functions on non-complex rostering queries to deliver exceptional service to the business. Your core responsibilities include:
- Managing base rosters within our Payroll system (Kronos) as well as ongoing, long
- and short-term rosters,
- Reallocating shifts, managing planned and unplanned leave and exceptions,
- Communicating updates and informing staff of shift allocations & replacements,
- Ensuring staff are working/rostered within relevant Enterprise Agreement and payroll reporting is ready for pay sign off,
- Coordinating, managing and resolving enquiries in a high-pressure environment, including escalation of issues.

- Previous experience in a similar role within the aged care industry is highly desirable (however not essential)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills,
- An eye for detail and demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads,
- A great people person, you are a team player who is approachable and helpful
