We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join the AIMSS, Western Health team.

The Research Assistant will assist with the coordination of the #STOP study (Safer medicines to reduce falls and re-fractures for Osteoporosis) under the direction of the Clinical Research Manager and the local Principal Investigator.

**Your new role**:

- Contribute to data collection and analysis including patient recruitment, consent process, data collection and coordination of study participant appointments.
- Participate in community and professional activities related to musculoskeletal science and building of effective partnerships with relevant organisations to promote the research study.
- Engage in follow up with patients including completion of follow up surveys.
- Contribute to reporting and publications arising from research such as publications in peer reviewed journals;
**About You**:

- You have Tertiary qualifications in appropriate discipline and/or relevant experience preferably in the area of health sciences or biomedicine.
- You have previous research experience and an understanding of good clinical practice guidelines (GCP) and current GCP certification, or willingness to undertake appropriate education to meet the needs of the position.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective research collaboration and research and community engagement.
- You are able to contribute effectively as a participative member of a multidisciplinary collaborative team, utilising excellent patient management, organisational and communication skills.
