Your Impact

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.

About Goodstart Huntingdale

Goodstart Huntingdale is an EXCEEDING, 99 placed Centre Our Centre features large, open play spaces both inside and out, where children are encouraged to spend time with each other.

At Goodstart Huntingdale we have a non-contact educational leader who supports, and guides educators as needed. The Centre director has been with the company 17 years this year and long-term staff that have been at the service over 10 years. We have strong community connections such as clothes drive, community garden, centre library, secondbite bread delivery and day care dental to name a few.

Fulltime 38 hours with set shifts - Either 7:30am - 4pm or 8:30am - 5pm (Flexible with shifts between opening hours of 6:30am - 6pm)
4.5 - 6 hours a week programming, shared between all staff within the room
Separate staff and planning room with 3 computers
Teacher mentor support program

You’ll need

Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
Current Western Australian Teachers Registration
Current Western Australian Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
