Qualified Building Supervisor

We are seeking a **Qualified Building Supervisor with a strong trade background** to join our team in Perth. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who not only supervises but also actively contributes to work on-site when needed. You'll oversee residential and/or commercial construction projects while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and compliance — and you won’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves when required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and manage daily on-site construction activities
- Actively assist with structural fixes or minor tasks when necessary, rather than delegating everything to subcontractors
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain compliance with WA building regulations and the NCC
- Ensure a safe and productive work environment in line with WHS standards
- Communicate effectively with trades and internal teams
- Maintain site records, progress reports, and documentation

**Requirements**:

- Solid trade background (preferably carpentry) with hands-on construction experience
- Comfortable using tools and performing basic to intermediate tasks alongside trades as needed
- Ability to independently address and resolve minor structural/site issues
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with the Building Code of Australia and local regulations
- White Card and current driver's license
