Pay rate: $55 + pens

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Duty (HD) Fitter to join our team. As an HD Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders. You will also perform preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform maintenance and repair work on heavy equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and repair or replace defective parts.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as changing oil and filters, lubricating moving parts, and inspecting equipment for wear and tear.
- Use diagnostic tools such as electronic testing equipment to diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Document all maintenance and repair work performed on equipment.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as required.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of a Heavy Duty Fitter apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and own reliable transportation.
