We are a co-educational, comprehensive Catholic secondary school in the Diocese of Parramatta, catering for students across Years 7 to 12. The St Agnes teaching community aims to deliver an innovative curriculum designed to meet the interests and needs of our students.

**Context**
As a secondary school in Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese, St Agnes Catholic High School (co-educational 7-12) is a modern working environment that requires the agility of all educators to respond to a changing educational context and the needs of our communities. St Agnes Catholic High School’s enrolment has increased in recent years and as a result of this growth, it has been decided to appoint two (2) Diversity Leaders. From 2025, there will be a Senior (10-12) and Junior (7-9) Diversity Leader of Learning. As a school leader you will be accountable for leading the learning at St Agnes through collaboration, instructional leadership, supporting evidence-based practice and a commitment to your own learning. The Principal may amend the accountabilities and duties of staff in accordance with the changing circumstances and needs of the school.

**Role Accountabilities**
- Appropriately qualified and demonstrates the ability and experience to teach and lead a team which provides additional support for individual students
- Contributes to the delivery of the system strategic intent within the local school context
- Exercises Catholic leadership and fosters the faith formation of students and staff
- Creates and maintains an effective partnership with families and carers to support and improve students’ achievement and personal development
- Mentors and coaches teachers to make appropriate adjustments or interventions for students at the point of need
- Coordinates the personalised planning process and collaborates with Leaders of Learning Pathways and stakeholders on developing personalised plans for students
- Identifies and coordinates internal and external stakeholders, support services and agencies to respond to the needs of students including providers for diagnostic testing and assessment
- Tracks, reports and meets compliance of assigned areas of responsibility and components of registration and accreditation in accordance with school, system and legislative requirements
- Displays a thorough understanding of and collect relevant data to include in Personalised Plans for NCCD requirements
- Collaborate with Teachers and Teacher Assistants to provide educational support for identified students
- Support teachers in the creation and implementation of engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students

**School Accountabilities**
- Gives witness to the Catholic faith and exemplifies Gospel values in their leadership and professional relationships
- Engages in continuous learning and contributes positively to a collaborative and respectful working environment
- Contributes and adheres to school policies and procedures, along with identifying and reporting risks

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Accredited tertiary qualification in education or degree in a specific discipline with a graduate degree in teaching
- Demonstrated experience working in a leadership position in a school setting
- Working with Children Check
- Australian resident or citizen
